For my icon design I decided to recreate an already exsisting icon (Apple logo) and changed it by using a different fruit. I chose carefully which fruit that I was going to use as I knew some fruits wouldn't work as well as others. The famous Apple logo has a bite taken out of the apple so I needed a fruit that you could bite into, for example, a pineapple or a kiwi would not work for this. I researched the type that Apple had used and found that it was Times New Roman, and I also added the Registered 'R' for authenticity. I think this works as a logo and perhaps it could have worked just as well if Apple had decided to name their company Pear instead.
